The Trade Section
is forging a role in the education and enhanced understanding
of trade issues by various components of civil society, through
seminars, awareness-building activities and policy discussions
with legislators, journalists, the private sector, academics and
members of non-governmental organizations. |

Agreement Project in Colombia. In cooperation with the Trust for
the Americas, Confecamaras, Ministry of Trade, Tourism and
Industry, and the National Planning Department.
Cycle of Workshops, Conferences and
Dialogues with Civil Society (for Central American countries,
the Dominican Republic and Panama). In collaboration with the
Ministries of Trade and business associations.
Workshops for Journalists on
Andean-US FTA.
Workshop on Intellectual Property
Rights and CAFTA for the Congress of the Dominican Republic.
Civil Society and CAFTA Project in
Guatemala. In cooperation with the Trust for the Americas, the
Ministry of Economy and civil society groups.
Workshops with Private Sector
Tourism Stakeholders – Doing Business in a CSME context (for
CARICOM countries.) |
