Meeting with representatives of International Organizations

On October 13, 2005 a special session of the Joint Working Group with representatives of international organizations was held. The aim of the meeting was to receive inputs on the content, structure and priorities that the Social Charter should reflect. Among the participants were: The Inter-American Development Bank, The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean and the Pan-American Health Organization.

Meeting with experts

On October 30, 2006 a special session of the Working Group was held. Among the participants were Victor Abramovich, member of the Inter-American Commission of Human Rights of the OAS; Carmen Artigas, Chief of the Human Rights Unit of the Division of Social Development, ECLAC; Andy Norton, Specialist on Social Development, World Bank and Dana Martin, Attorney, Inter-American Development Bank. The main objective of the meeting was to gather inputs from the participants to enrich and inform the tasks of the Working Group.
