The workshop “Learning Communities: the experience of the Program Puente-Chile Solidario” will be held in Chile on July 18 – 22 in response to the commitments made within in the framework of the Inter-American Committee on Social Development of the OAS (CIDES). The goal is to analyze the program as an instrumental case study to reflect upon the findings of this experience in the light of other countries' experiences. The Workshop will be held under the auspices of the government of Chile , as well as the Office of Education, Science and Technology, in its capacity as Technical Secretariat of CIDES.

The Ministry of Planning of Chile , president of CIDES, has extended an invitation to all Ministers and High Authorities on Social Development of the member States of the Organization of American States.

The workshop responds will be held in the Hotel “Conference Town”, located in the city of Viña el Mar, in Reñaca.
