The Business Technical Advisory Committee on Labor Matters (CEATAL) was represented by Mr. Brian Burkett, member of the Canadian Employers’ Council, during the dialogue held by representatives of the private sector and the Ministers of Foreign Affairs in the framework of the Fifth Summit of the Americas.

During the dialogue, Mr. Burkett presented a series of recommendations for the employers’ sector to face the current economic global crisis, complementing the presentations of other entrepreneurial leaders. Before the dialogue, delegates of CEATAL participated in the Private Sector Forum, that took place in Port of Spain on April 15 and 16, 2009.
