RIAL Workshop on Gender Mainstreaming in the Ministries of Labor of the AmericasPlace and date: Buenos Aires, Argentina, July 21, 2009 This Workshop is part of the IACML Calendar of Activities for 2008-2009, and it was organized in response to the strategic guidelines on gender approved by the XV IACML. It provided a forum for discussion of the study “The Institutionalization of a Gender Approach in the Ministries of Labor of the Americas”. Additionally, the participants were able to identify and prioritize the training needs of the Ministries of Labor of the region to strengthen the incorporation of a gender perspective into their policies, programs and actions.
