Capacity Building
As part of SEDI's activities and in accordance to the mandates from the Summits of the Americas in strengthening and building institutional capacities for better governance, the OSE carries out several training activities, to contribute to the development of the OAS Member States. A fundamental part of this effort is the training of political leaders, public officials, as well as professionals and academics in issues related to incorporating technology to modernize public administration and improve governance. These efforts include international workshops as well as CD and on-line courses.

The thirty-seventh regular session of the General Assembly will be held from June 3 to 5, 2007, in
Panama City, in the Republic of Panama. Meetings and sessions will be held at the Centro de Convenciones Atlántico Pacífico (Atlantic Pacific Convention Center) (ATLAPA), in Panama City. More information >>
